April 2010 - Jaxon Riley is born!

Grace gave birth to Jaxon Riley Gin on Friday April 16th at 11:33 am at 7lbs and 3oz. with a full head of hair ready to style like his bros.

   

Fall 2009

Grace successfully passed her Advanced Manipulative and Manual Therapy Exams and she is now a Fellow in the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapy.

Cornell Physiotherapy continues to strive for excellence of care in the Markham community. We all hold the highest manual therapy qualifications available.

May 2008 - Little Clara is born!

On May 13, Lisa gave birth to Clara by cesarean. Both are recovering and are doing well. Big sister Maya can't wait for them to come home!

 

April 2008 - 5K Legacy Walk/Run

Grace and Jen from Balanced Living shared a tent to support the Legacy run and to cheer on over 2400 participants who raise funds for the programs at the Markham Stouffville Hospital. Participants were pleased to receive free epsom salts and massage therapy from our tent.

   

April 2008 - Welcome U of T Student

Markham resident, Stephanie Lau is completing her advanced orthopedic training at Cornell Physiotherapy. We are excited to have her on board with us...welcome Stephanie!

   

June 2007 - We'll miss you Cindy

Markham will miss your healing hands. Cindy and her family will be moving to Alberta and she will continue her practice there. Good luck Cindy!

Welcome Andrea!

Andrea Dion is a University of Toronto student completing her last year in the Physiotherapy program. You will see her friendly face for the next five weeks as she is placed here for her Advanced Musculoskeletal Internship.

The Cornell community braved the cold weather and supported our local Easter Egg Hunt Event. Thanks Mark (Lisa’s husband) for supplying us with hot tea and cocoa. It was a pleasure to meet with the community. We look forward to future community events.

     
 

March 30, 2007

Come visit us at our clinic on Saturday April 7. We will be passing out balloons and activity books to the Easter Egg hunters. Adults can pick up handouts on tips for running, gardening, golfing and more. We are excited to meet with our neighbours and will answer any questions you have about our services.

Welcome Cindy!
Lisa and Grace are pleased to announce a new addition to our team.
Cindy Coneen, another Cornell resident, is joined our practice this month. In addition to offering advanced orthopaedic manual therapy, Cindy has training and experience in both photonic laser therapy and acupuncture.

Congratulations Lisa and Mark!
Lisa gave birth to Maya Helen Schaub on March 1st 2006. Maya weighed 6 lbs 11 oz. Lisa did such a great job delivering her naturally. Both mother and daughter are doing well. Auntie Grace is thrilled as well. She can go nuts playing with baby Maya when she feels out numbered with all the males in her home (Justice 3 yrs and Jaden 1 yr).
