Low Energy Photon Therapy is the application of specific forms
of monochromatic light with selected optical parameters. There
are different probes for providing infrared and red light over
large or small sites of injury or pain. This technology is available
at Cornell Physiotherapy in East Markham.
The light emitting diodes create a 3 dimensional or reverse pyramid
distribution of photon energy in the tissue. The resultant larger
area of energy absorption is advantageous in the treatment of multiple
sites of pain and/or soft tissue injury. |
